Get ready for a sport-tastic July with 100 FSS! The annual Team Mildenhall Sports Day is on Thursday, July 20 and whether you’re in it to win it, or just to have great fun, it should be a fantastic day! Make sure you contact your unit POC if you’d like to take part (details pages 22-23).

Prefer some less strenuous physical activity? Outdoor Rec’s organizing a Wind-Down Paddle along one of Suffolk’s picturesque rivers. Outdoor Rec also has skydiving, kite buggying, gliding and a Peak District adventure lined up! Remember to book early because Outdoor Rec’s events fill up fast.

The RAF Mildenhall Library's Summer Reading Program is in full swing! - read books, log minutes and win prizes! A great way to spend some sunny downtime. We also have a special Library feature in this issue - pages 16 - 17.

Youth Programs has a bumper program to keep your little ones entertained over the holidays with hapkido, ballet, kids sports and ten weeks of summer camps! Check out their activities on pages 35-37.

Meet Your Hapkido Instructor

Team Mildenhall, meet Green Turner, Hapkido instructor at the RAFM Youth Development Center. Turner has more than 30 years experience which he shares with his students, and is committed to helping them develop the core principles to motivate and move them along their personal Hapkido journey. "I don't have these kids for years to develop, so I want them to have key takeaways to build their confidence

and make them excited to continue training," says Turner. By the physical and positive energy I witnessed in his students, he has done just that.
