The Gateway Inn provides daily housekeeping service. In order to provide you the proper service, the Housekeeping staff requests your assistance. Housekeepers are trained not to touch personal belongings. Please place personal belongings in the closet or on the luggage rack so housekeepers may better assist you. “Do Not Disturb” signs are provided to inform housekeepers that no service is requested. If you desire service, please remove the sign prior to 1300 hours to allow our staff enough time to come back and service your room. Housekeeping will enter the room on the third consecutive day that a “Do Not Disturb” sign is posted.
We cannot allow a room to go unattended for more than 3 Days. We realize there may be some instances where people are scheduled to work unusual shifts and don't want to be disturbed. If this situation occurs, please contact the front desk to schedule a convenient time to service your room.
Bed sheets are changed at least once a week (depending upon the day you arrived). Sheets are also changed, when guests stay longer than one week and upon checkout. To avoid washing clean linens, please place all soiled linens in plain view on the floor and keep clean linens on the shelves or towel bars.
Please do not use the towels to clean cars, shoes, etc. You will be charged replacement costs for misused linens.
Housekeeping WILL NOT make your bed if personal belongings are left on it. They are not authorized to remove them.
Housekeeping provides a different level of service on a daily/weekly basis. Below is a listing of the daily/weekly service provided.

Note for TLF occupants:
- Pets must be in kennels to allow housekeeping to enter and provide room service
- All TLFs will be checked by housekeeping daily, even when service isn’t required.
- All pots, pans, dishes, and utensils in the kitchen must be washed by the guest prior to departure. A $150.00 cleaning fee will be assessed if dishes are not washed properly and put away.
With the exception of the pet friendly TLF units, pets are not permitted anywhere in the lodging property. This includes guest rooms and common areas such as parking lots. Pets must be boarded at a kennel prior to room assignment. Information on local boarding kennels is located elsewhere in this guest directory. Evidence of pets in lodging facilities other than the designated pet friendly rooms will result in deep cleaning charges ($150.00), and, in addition, the guest will be held responsible for any damages.
